HIGHLIGHT THE CONTRIBUTION OF DONORS FOR THE NEW WING

The committee put in place to solicit businesses and individuals of the region has fulfilled its mandate since, to date, several private firms, federal, provincial, municipal organizations and individuals have come forward and are now linked to the expansion project of the pallliative Care Home through considerable donations and commitments over several years.

The Sercan Foundation wants to underline the involvement of its generous donors towards Sercan, the Sercan Palliative Care Home and the Sercan Foundation, but of course also towards the community of the greater Lower Laurentians region which will benefit, thanks to their benevolence , the best possible care and support following the expansion.

Since Desjardins’ mission is to contribute to the economic and social well-being of individuals and communities, we are very privileged to have been heard and to be supported by the Desjardins Fund with an amount of $400,000 which will be donated to the Foundation to support the expansion project.

A enormous thank you for your support and your generosity towards the community of the Lower Laurentians and towards the Sercan Palliative Care Home.

Fonds régions et ruralité (FRR)

It is through Fond régions et ruralité (FRR) created via the bill “Partnership 2020-2024: For even stronger municipalities and regions” that the Sercan Foundation and its Sercan palliative care home were able to benefit from part of the envelope thus making it possible to support the expansion and better adapt to changing socio-economic issues and realities.

All of us at Sercan, as well as the entire community express our gratitude.

Cascades Inc., a local company founded in 1964, joined the Sercan palliative care home expansion project through a commitment of $50,000 spread over five years.

To Mario Plourde, President and Chief Executive Officer and Alain Lemaire, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, a warm thank you from the Sercan Foundation.

The Lemaire Family Foundation, inspired by the philanthropic commitment of the three Lemaire brothers, has the mission of supporting organizations or projects in the field of health and education in Quebec.

This organization, which has been working in the community for more than 25 years, contributed to the end of a five-year agreement, with an amount of $50,000 to support the expansion project. THANKS !

Les Résidences Funéraires Goyer has been a family affair for more than 50 years, comprising three generations.

Entirely Quebecois and strongly involved in the community, the Résidences Funéraires Goyer have been involved from the start in many ways with the Sercan Foundation.

Firmly believing in the sustainability of the Sercan Palliative Care Home, it was without hesitation that the family made a donation of $50,000 over five years dedicated to this magnificent expansion project.

Bath Fitter, founded 35 years ago by the three Cotton brothers who always aim to do better and believe in continuous improvement, generously donated $100,000 to the Sercan Foundation through a five-year partnership agreement .

We are proud of this fine alliance and the support shown for Sercan, the Sercan Palliative Care Home and, of course, the expansion project. Their community involvement is great and it is to their credit.

A couple of proud Eustachians, franchisees of Rôtisseries St-Hubert, Mrs. Diane and Mr. Jacques Brault contributed to the expansion project of the Sercan Palliative Care Center by donating $50,000 over a period of 5 years to the Foundation. Sercan.

SPLL, Services préhospitaliers des Laurentides-Lanaudière, a company that began in 1969 in Saint-Eustache, responded generously to the call of the Sercan Foundation by contributing to the great project for the next five years, with an amount total of $50,000.

The passion, sense of duty, generosity, camaraderie and dedication of everyone at SPLL are greatly felt at Sercan Palliative Care Home. THANKS !

Placement Premier Soin, a healthcare professional placement agency founded in 2003, has chosen to join the construction/renovation project of the Palliative Care Center and thus contribute to the cause by pledging no less than $100,000 to the Sercan Foundation within the next four years.

Respect, integrity, empathy and excellence represent the values of Placement Premier Soins and its subsidiaries (Excel Santé and Code Bleu); we are proud and grateful for this wonderful association.

The Saint-Eustache Kiwanis Club, a non-profit organization which, through subscription activities, financially and/or voluntarily supports local community action, proudly contributed to the expansion project of the Sercan Palliative Care Home and presented in July 2022 a check for $20,000, the first guarantee of a five-year agreement for a total of $100,000.

A very warm and sincere thank you to Mr. Roger Hamel, President of Kiwanis who presented the check in the presence of (from right to left) Mr. Benoit Goyer, member of the Kiwanis Club, Mrs. Caroline Bastien, Director-General of the Maison de Sercan palliative care, Mr. René Goyer, president of the Sercan board and member of the Kiwanis Club and Mrs. Isabel Matiolli, independent municipal councilor for the Seigneurie district.

Mr. Fernand Biard, a businessman associated and sensitive to the cause of the Sercan Foundation for approximately 25 years, will donate $50,000 over a period of five years as a contribution to the expansion of the Care Home Sercan palliatives.

Investamp, a financial services firm in the greater Montreal area with a storefront in Boisbriand, is also part of the beautiful family of generous donors, as Mr. Michel Prévost, president of the company, has pledged to donate an amount $50,000 to the Sercan Foundation spread over the next five years.

Les Chevaliers de Colomb, Conseil 1813, have been involved, day after day, year after year for more than 100 years, in helping the less fortunate in the Eustachian community as well as in various organizations and/or events including the Sercan Foundation with its Dragon Boat Race, its spaghetti day, the sale of tickets for the Loterie Jean-Guy-Lefebvre and more…

Dre. Martine Buron, dentist graduated in 1995, has been practicing in our beautiful region since 1996.

She has been supporting the Sercan Foundation and the Palliative Care Center through her presence at fundraising activities for several years.

Wishing to get more involved, she decided to make a donation which, together with other generous donors, will allow the expansion of the Sercan Palliative Care Home.

It is with gratitude that she gives back to those who have encouraged her all these years.

Ms. Brigitte Mathers, President of Carrière St-Eustache Ltée, a local business that has been meeting the needs of customers in the region and further afield for more than 60 years, recently joined the group of “Major Donors” in donating $50,000 to the Sercan Foundation.
