The committee set up to solicit local businesses and individuals has been successful, as many private firms, organizations at the federal, provincial, and municipal level, and individuals have already stepped up and thrown their support behind the Sercan Palliative Care Home expansion project, making significant donations and pledges for coming years.

The Sercan Foundation wishes to acknowledge the commitment of its generous donors to Sercan, the Sercan Palliative Care Home, and the Sercan Foundation, as well as to the wider Lower Laurentians community, which will benefit from better care and support made possible by their kind support of the expansion project.

Since Desjardins’ mission is to contribute to the economic and social well-being of individuals and communities, we are very privileged to have been heard and to be supported by the Desjardins Fund with an amount of $400,000 which will be donated to the Foundation to support the expansion project.

Fonds régions et ruralité (FRR)

Established through the Partnership 2020-2024: For Even Stronger Municipalities and Regions bill, the Regions and Rurality Fund (FRR) has granted the Sercan Foundation and its palliative care home part of its resource envelope to support the expansion project and better adapt to changing socioeconomic issues and concerns.

The entire Sercan team and the wider community wish to express our gratitude.

Cascades Inc., a local company founded in 1964, joined the Sercan palliative care home expansion project through a commitment of $50,000 spread over five years.

To Mario Plourde, President and Chief Executive Officer and Alain Lemaire, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, a warm thank you from the Sercan Foundation.

Inspired by the commitment of the three Lemaire brothers to philanthropy, Fondation de la famille Lemaire aims to support organizations and projects across Quebec in the fields of health and education.

The organization has been active in the community for over 25 years and has pledged $50,000 over 5 years in support of the expansion project. Thank you!

Les Résidences Funéraires Goyer has been a family affair for more than 50 years, comprising three generations.

Entirely Quebecois and strongly involved in the community, the Résidences Funéraires Goyer have been involved from the start in many ways with the Sercan Foundation.

Firmly believing in the sustainability of the Sercan Palliative Care Home, it was without hesitation that the family made a donation of $50,000 over five years dedicated to this magnificent expansion project.

Founded 35 years ago by three Cotton brothers who always strove to do better and believed in continuous improvement, Bain Magique is generously gifting $100,000 to the Sercan Foundation in a 5-year partnership.

We are proud of this alliance and delighted by their support of Sercan, the Sercan Palliative Care Home, and its expansion project. They are highly involved in the community, much to their credit.

A couple of proud Eustachians, franchisees of Rôtisseries St-Hubert, Mrs. Diane and Mr. Jacques Brault contributed to the expansion project of the Sercan Palliative Care Center by donating $50,000 over a period of 5 years to the Foundation. Sercan.

irst established in 1969 in Saint-Eustache, SPLL, Services préhospitaliers des Laurentides-Lanaudière, answered the Sercan Foundation’s call with a generous contribution totaling $50,000 over five years.

The passion, sense of duty, generosity, camaraderie, and dedication that drives everyone at SPLL are keenly felt at the Sercan Palliative Care Home. Thank you!

Placement Premier Soin, a healthcare professional placement agency founded in 2003, has chosen to join the construction/renovation project of the Palliative Care Center and thus contribute to the cause by pledging no less than $100,000 to the Sercan Foundation within the next four years.

Respect, integrity, empathy and excellence represent the values of Placement Premier Soins and its subsidiaries (Excel Santé and Code Bleu); we are proud and grateful for this wonderful association.

A non-profit club that fundraises to support local community action through financial contribution and/or volunteering, the Saint-Eustache Kiwanis Club was proud to contribute to the Sercan Palliative Care Home expansion project, presenting a $20,000 cheque in July 2022 as the first installment of a five-year pledge totaling $100,000.

Our warmest and sincerest thanks to Kiwanis President Roger Hamel, who presented the cheque along with (from left to right) Benoit Goyer, Kiwanis Club member; Caroline Bastien, Managing Director of the Sercan Palliative Care Home; René Goyer, Sercan Chair and Kiwanis Club member; and Isabel Matiolli, independent City Councillor for district de la Seigneurie.

Mr. Fernand Biard, a businessman associated and sensitive to the cause of the Sercan Foundation for approximately 25 years, will donate $50,000 over a period of five years as a contribution to the expansion of the Care Home Sercan palliatives.

Montreal-area financial services firm Investamp of Boisbriand is also a member of our generous donor family, as its president, Michel Prévost, has pledged $50,000 to the Sercan Foundation over the next five years.

Les Chevaliers de Colomb, Conseil 1813, have been involved, day after day, year after year for more than 100 years, in helping the less fortunate in the Eustachian community as well as in various organizations and/or events including the Sercan Foundation with its Dragon Boat Race, its spaghetti day, the sale of tickets for the Loterie Jean-Guy-Lefebvre and more…

A dentist since 1995, Dr. Martine Buron established her practice in our area in 1996.

She has supported the Sercan Foundation and Sercan Palliative Care Home for a number of years, taking part in our fundraising activities.

Seeking greater involvement, she opted to make a donation which, combined with those of other generous donors, make the expansion of the Sercan Palliative Care Home possible.
