Headed by the Sercan Sercan Foundation, the Sercan Palliative Care Home welcomes people nearing the end of their life for free.
Located in Saint-Eustache, Maison Sercan has been offering personalized end-of-live care to patients since 2005. Seven private rooms, soon to be 12, are available to patients to live in a calm and caring environment. Our qualified staff is on duty 24 hours a day to relieve residents’ symptoms and discomfort and allow them to live out their last moments with dignity.

Quelques moments marquants de notre histoire
Une étudiante en travail social et quelques bénévoles mettent sur pied Sercan. L’organisme offre des services d’échange et d’entraide dédiés aux personnes atteintes de cancer ainsi que leur entourage.
La structure s’adapte, car la mort fait également partie de la maladie. Ainsi, la Maison de soins palliatifs à Saint-Eustache est créée.
Une campagne de financement d’envergure, présidée par M. Fernand Biard, finance la construction de la Maison Sercan. Ainsi, c’est en automne 2005 que la Maison de soins palliatifs reçoit son premier patient.
Un beau projet d’agrandissement voit le jour. Le nombre de lits disponibles passent de 4 à 7 grâce au Défi Kilimandjaro de janvier 2012. De cette manière, la Maison Sercan constitue, depuis, un service inestimable pour les gens de notre communauté en accompagnement de fin de vie.
